WHY I EAT BEFORE MY WORKOUT - Not only because I just love to eat, however science shows that training on an empty stomach can be beneficial short term for weight loss, however studies have shown that those who eat breakfast or a given meal before working out, in the LONG RUN maintain and manage weightloss more effectively. 
I am not looking to lose weight, however the maintenance of my weight at certain stages of my training is crucial to my end goals. 
Not only does eating before a workout help with long term maintenance of body weight, it gives that extra spike of energy within workouts which allows for  more focus and of course what some would deem better performance. 
Really it depends on your goals, mind and your body. If you find you tend to workout better gaining better results without breakfast in the morning then go for it and the same for the reverse.
