Images at Joshua Tree National Park

I started my day listening to Dreams by Fleetwood Mac on vinyl. When leaving Joshua Tree after working with the sweetest couple tonight, a car pulled up next to ours for only a moment playing Dreams as the light disappeared. This place is magic.

I hope I don’t run into Delores out here. #westworld #joshuatree #therealworld #nationalpark
I’m new to this whole outdoor/adventure insta world and learning a ton from others who have a love for the outdoors and travel. The one thing that appears to be a huge topic of debate is whether to geotag places for fear of overcrowding and blowing up spots that were once peaceful. I see both sides of this debate. I tend to be an over-sharer because I want everyone to experience what I have experienced, however I do see the beauty in keeping places secret so they don’t get trashed by people who don’t respect nature.

We hiked out to this arch in Joshua Tree and had read about a cool heart shaped rock formation hidden somewhere near the arch. The boys and I searched and asked around (along with a few other hikers on the same quest) and we never found it. I joked with my oldest son that the unknown is part of the fun of adventures. It was a challenge and we didn’t succeed but there’s always next time ❤️ #heartrock #werecomingforyou 😍
