Balance is a part of our daily lives. So, I believe it’s an integral part of any training routine (at all ages 😌) to help improve stability, coordination, and strength as well as to reduce the risk of injury.
The single leg deadlift is one of my favorite balance exercises and you can practice it anywhere. Just remember to keep these things in mind:
🔹Root the standing foot firmly into the ground, all five toes planted
🔹Hinge at the hips (back foot always points down to the ground)
🔹 Keep the back flat and think of your body as a seesaw (chest never drops below your hips)
🔹Squeeze the glutes to stand back upright
