Flashback Friday.. this week’s flashback goes back to 2015. The year I started powerlifting. This pic is of me and my 1st deadlift PB of 105 (coincidently I hit the same weight last night for 8 reps then 3 sets of 5) I love looking back to when I started because you can see it’s been one awesome journey. 10kg squat PB - 215kg - Yewwwwww! . . I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t stoked to hit this . . I’ve always been a shit squatter. But I just don’t quit because I’m a persistent and stubborn mother fucker 🤷🏻‍♂️ . . It’s been about 6 months since I’ve put anything on my squat, but been working away trying to get my legs bigger and stronger so it’s good to finally see something paying off . . Shout out to hard working client @kat_gundry who is down 3.3kgs in her first 6 weeks of prep for WBFF Gold Coast show .

I’ve been pushing her fairly hard in the first phase of fat loss, as I always prefer clients to be ahead of schedule leading in to their show. Rather then chasing their tail and racing the clock and under huge amounts of stress as the show approaches .
.
Sometimes being ready a bit earlier means we can have a easier time in the final week or two, and eat a bit more, reduce cardio and lower stress levels coming in to stage day 👌🏻

Prep so far hasn’t been easy with Kat doing night shifts, plus following a high volume high frequency training program, as well as cardio and high daily step targets. Not to mention she has to put up with @alexgeorgeou as well 😂

However all is on track as results are showing already with still over 12 weeks to go .

Looking forward to seeing her crush it as I have no doubt she will .
