The Red Tents are an everlasting symbol of the citizens of Canada’s action against homelessness. Starting in 2010 at the Pivot Legal Society in Vancouver, the Red Tents were an effort to pressure the Canadian government into creating a national housing strategy. The campaign grew quickly, gathering the attention of people all over the country. Though the official site is no longer available, the tents remain as a vivid reminder to take care of those around us.
