Throw back to another era. The bar at The Palmyra Hotel in Baalbek, Lebanon. Apparently this is the oldest continually operating hotel in the Middle East, having stayed open every day since 1874. In its heyday it hosted emperors, kings, queens, musicians, and writers. Today it is a stone’s throw from the Syrian border and in the heart of Hezbollah-controlled Beqaa Valley. Baalbek, Lebanon.
