I’m obsessed with Elephants and whales.. After visiting an Elephant sanctuary in the Malaysian rain forest, it really shocked me how badly we treat them and the planet in general. The Malaysian (and Indonesian) rainforest is being cut down to plant palm oil trees to make palm oil. The elephants, all other animals and the indigenous people’s natural habitat are slowly disappearing because of that. The main buyers are soda companies... But also found in everything from shampoo to donuts, palm oil is now the most common vegetable oil in the world—and also one of the world's leading deforestation drivers. Do the earth a favor say no to this product. On this small Island in Thailand I could only find one place to ride elephants what I obviously wouldn’t do but I got to pet and feed them! One of my fave memories from my trip.. Here is a small clip my good friend @davidpalasti made. #loveelephants  #elephants  #elephant  #animals  #animalsanctuary  #animalabuse  #animalovers  #ifyouloveanimalsdonteatthem  #dontsupportpalmoil  #elephantsareawesome  #dontrideelephants  #animalsarenotproducts  #freeelephants  #loveallanimals  #freetheanimals  #animalsdeservefreedom  #travelblogger  #palmoilfreeproducts  #savethejungle  #wildanimals  #travelingyogi  #explore  #rainforest  #jungle  #traveladict  #travelphotography  #travelinggirl  #bebetterhuman

I always check if a product contains palm oil , which is very often has a different name (as a derivative can have 200 names), so the way out is to buy less in the conventional supermarket and Avoid long ingredients list products
