N O . 2 1 | i read something extremely uncomfortable last night; apparently i dreamt about the situation as well, & it woke me up from my sleep. (before going to bed, i even read what was written to my mom & sister, who both found the message to be disturbing.) i don’t know if i’m going to talk about it in depth, but a part of me feels like i should at some point. i’m just so disgusted & disappointed in an account i loved following, but feel i no longer can. everyone, please know that i value you all for your unique qualities, your quirks, & the need to want to be represented in publications where others with your skin color aren’t being seen. unlike many, i don’t consider the color of your skin to be a political issue, but rather, something that deserves basic human respect. i make it a point (even in my gift boxes) to make sure anyone feels comfortable to purchase something from me. not just some, all. i can’t imagine running a business where one believes the color of another person’s skin (within a certain group) is a political issue. ugh, i haven’t even scratched the surface on this. sending everyone lots of love this sunday morning. & know that i hear you & i see you. 📷: @thebrittedit

I can't imagine what the post was, but it definitely sounds disturbing🙁 Lately more and more I find I just have to ignore such negativity and insensitivity. To focus on it just seems to give life to it. So be disappointed but just move forward. Remember we're all rooting for you❤️🌸❤️

Beautifully said, we are all humans, no matter what colour. Religion, believes, sex, gender, sexuality we are or have, we all deserve the same respect 😊
