You know what? With a new competitive season comes a crap ton of really fun rogue decks that sound great in theory, but need to be ironed out a bit more to be effective in practice, so let's talk about one of my favorites that I have tested, quad greninja gx. Now, greninja isn't a deck that likes to do damage the normal way too just the active Pokemon, oh no, greninja is essentially a deck that tries to pick up a massive amount of kos by spreading it's damage absolutely everywhere, but how do we do this? Well, you see both the frogadier and greninja gx have an ability extremely similar to the bats ability where you can place 20 damage wherever you want with frogadier when you evolve it and 30 damage in the same way when you evolve into greninja gx, and this is where the deck can get a bit chaotic. When you combine this with a card like the promo tapu koko, because we want to spread our damage out further than doing more with latios, we can place an absolutely ridiculous amount of damage on the board at a time, especially using cards like acerola and super scoop up which allow us to pick up our frogs and re use that same damaging ability all over again to spread even more damage. Setting up this deck is primarily done through brooklet hill to get our froakies out and acro bike with a ton of draw supporters to try and burn through are resources to get set up as quickly as possible. Now, greninja gx also has some good attacking potential with shadow hunter gx, allowing us to pick up gx knockouts on the bench and a 2hko attack that let's us shuffle it back into the deck for even more uses for this ability, both being very easy to pull off only needing an aqua patch and dce attachment. When this deck gets set up, it's an absolute nightmare too play against, however because of how good cards like golisopod gx and weavile are, alongside it's more unreliable nature, the ninja may have to stay hidden in the shadows. #nintendo #gamefreak #creaturesinc #gameboy #pokemon #pokemonredandblue #pokemongoldandsilver #pokemonxy #pokemonsunandmoon #pokemontcg #forbiddenlight #solgaleo #lunala #froakie #tapukoko #ultranecrozma #pokemoncards #zygarde #xerneas #yveltal #greninja
