🔹’People who don’t drink any alcohol are more likely to develop Alzheimer’s’
🔸’Even moderate drinking linked to a decline in health’
🔹’Alcohol limits cut to reduce health risks’
. . . I mean . . . 🤯 . . . what do we do? In my honest opinion, we don’t have a clear answer yet 🤷🏼‍♀️
Main thing for me when reading these articles is to look beyond the headlines - understanding the demographic, geographic and psychographic of those studies as it has a big impact on the results🔬
We all know alcohol abuse isn’t healthy, the need to drink everyday isn’t a good sign and drinking to excess is unlikely to do us any good 🙅🏼‍♀️
But a few drinks every now and then, enjoying wine paired with food, the joy of letting our hair down - we’re yet to see any reason why combined with a healthy lifestyle a drink (or few) can’t be enjoyed 👍🏼
So don’t let these reports panic you; the answer to a healthy lifestyle isn’t in one particular category. Think balance, moderation, the whole picture 💚
