Although I’m feeling mostly good now, I would be lying if I said this entire journey has been a breeze 🤰🏼I always thought that when we got pregnant, I would just continue doing all the things I had been doing... 😂😂😂

There were WEEKS when I survived on dry Cheerios, bananas and broth. I ended up with a sinus infection and didn’t move from the couch for over a week.

This pregnancy was a bit of a surprise to us {more on that another time 😬} and I was nervous about everything!! I was so scared to take any medicine and remember crying to my sister on the phone because I couldn’t eat anything I was reading that I SHOULD be eating and was averaging about 200 steps a day 😑

I was given major workout restrictions by my doctor, which was a hard pill to swallow. But y’all... if there’s ever a time to give yourself grace, it’s while you’re growing a human!

Over the last few months I’ve learned to listen to my body. I’ve learned that it’s OK to take it easy (hello daily naps 😴). You don’t HAVE to push yourself just because you see people more pregnant than you running marathons and doing CrossFit. 🙅🏼‍♀️ and if all you can eat is steak and potatoes, you eat steak and potatoes and take your vitamin! You do YOU.

AND, most importantly, it’s ok to love your body just the way it is exactly at this moment. Pregnant or not. 😉

    You look amazing! I lived on cereal, pineapple, and LOTS of naps with my first. I think I worked out maybe 10 times? He came out 9 lbs 😳 you are already ahead of the game with your clean eating and exercise! You should be so proud!
