Hey guys we are back with some awesome information on complex carbohydrates. (We have made post on carbohydrates and it's types. Check that post before reading further)
So let's get started!
Now, complex carbohydrates are said to be good for health but let's understand why it is said so? 
First of all complex carbohydrates are chain of glucose molecules which are harder for our body to break down instantly. Polysaccharides is a type of complex carbohydrates. Poly as the name refer "many" and sachride means glucose(sugar) which does not spike our insulin and provides us energy throughout.
Both simple and complex carbohydrates are broken down by our body into its smallest form i.e glucose which is further used as energy. Complex carbohydrates food provides mineral,vitamin,starch which slows down the digesting process.This is the reason we need to add complex carbohydrates in our diet. But eating only complex carbohydrates in abundance is also not good for health. There should be a balance between our intake of simple and complex carbohydrates.
Complex carbohydrates are found in food such as peas,beans whole grains, and vegetables,etc
